Een korte, interactieve gids hielp hen hun ontwerpstijl te ontdekken en legde precies vast wat ze nodig hadden.

We need a logo idea for our guesthouse

The guesthouse is located on the beach
Name: The Travellers

Overall experience
THE TRAVELLERS is a label for the adventurous tourist. It will host an atmosphere of Adventure, Comfort and Relaxation.
Sustainable – Nature and eco
Beachcabins – great cabins in the beach
No-Stress; which is the island motto. It will be what our guests experience by our spacious design and calm staff.

The Cape Verde experience: we will use local culture, nature and history to decorate the cabins. Pictures and stories of the island will be used to create this experience.

The Beach/Island Experience: Furniture made of reclaimed items brought by the sea, sailing material (showing the heritage of the Cape Verdean naval tradition) and beach comfort (such as hammocks, lounge area and providing beach towels)

The Adventurer, The Great Discoverer, The Traveller – Experience: items such as old leather suitcases, photo cameras, maps, globes, compasses and pictures. It will have an 18th century Africa explorer feel, with a 19th century Jules Verne look while having 21st century comfort.

Lean and Perfect: Every item will be designed to add to the experience without wasting resources.
Comfort: While the Cabins have a basic adventure look, the comfort level is high. For example, a bed is of basic wood design; the matrass is thick and soft, lined with beautiful clean crisp white bedding.

The Why:
We believe tourism should leave a positive footprint. It shouldn’t spoil the landscape, cause pollution or exploit the local economy.

The How:
We believe tourism can empower local entrepreneurship and stimulate new job creation. It can even help remove existing negative footprints and leave it cleaner and better than before. We belief you can create this positive footprint while exploring a culture in an authentic way, having an adventure and relaxing & reviving holiday.

The What:
On a remote location on Cabo Verde, build 12 self-sustaining cabins and offer ‘no stress’ full-service.
Empower local entrepreneurs and stimulate the (sustainable) tourist industry.

The Travellers Beachcabins:
We want to create a Safe Haven for travellers, who want to have a beach experience,
...to relax,
...to reload
...to have an adventure and return with stories to tell.

We like your logo. It's still a little to backpacker for us. Our aim is more exclusive guesthouse where backpackers go when they have finished their studies and earn their salaries. (while still having the spirit of the adventure).
