Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you like the idea. I removed the hand (although a hand without a visible thumb can be an option; that way it wouldn't be associated with a gun). If I understand well, you'd like me to place an x-mark. I'm affraid that it would give a wrong message (which is NOT to chose the "stop" button). I've decided to use the arrow (in the upper version) or just to highlight the stop button using the different color (in the lower version) which makes the logo even more clean. What do you think?

Horizontal version and color variation

Here is my concept for your logo. It is based on a cigarette icon with its head being the pause/stop button (along with the play and forward buttons). The "smoke" has a form of the letter "E" (which stands for "easy") and a bird (which represents "freedom" > smoke free).

Idea behind the logo is to stop smoking easily and to go forward/live a life completely free of smoking.

The typewriter font refers to touch(ing the stop button) which symbolizes

- decision to stop smoking
- stop smoking therapy

The logo is clear, simple and suitable for any medium.
