This horse looks a bit less charming, anatomy wise (big short neck)

Hi thanks for the feedback, about the neck I had that feeling too but I didn't have time to correct it since the contest was ending, however since the contest was extended I will work on it asap, I will also try to modify the previous design as well to match what you asked

Is it possible to make it seem like the left side of the heart are the mane of the horse?

Thanks for your submission! With this position I got more of a hugging feeling, instead of bodywork with the horse.
